Dr. Fragola received his undergraduate degrees BA Psychology at SUNY Buffalo and BS Biology at SUNY Stonybrook, and he received his D.D.S. from New York University in 1976. He then was accepted for one of only four positions as a General Practice Resident at Cabrini Hospital Medical Center in New York where he was able to fine-tune his skills and eventually became the chief resident. He then was accepted and attended the Post Graduate Specialty Program in Endodontics at New York University, again one of only four positions. After completion, he practiced in Manhattan for four years; he then decided in 1982 that it was time to open his own office in West Islip. Since then, Dr. Fragola has been striving to stay on the cutting edge of technology. “Keeping an open mind to the newer technology is vital for the profession to grow and continue to advance,” according to Dr. Fragola.

Dr. Fragola is currently the assistant director of the Department of Dentistry at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center and is the founder and president of the West Islip Dental Study Club. He remains one of the only Endodontists in the United States that is a member of, and certified by, the International Congress of Oral Implantology as well as an Associate Fellow of the American College of Oral Implantology and the American Society of Osseointegration. Dr. Fragola is one of the choice few Endodontists in the world with Master Certification from the World Clinical Laser Institute.
